Relaxing, good fishing for kids off docks,need to be more strict about uncontrollable little dogs barking while families leave the camp site.
I was a weary cyclist looking for a place to pitch my tent and Hackensack was as far as i could go. I did a Google search and Pleasant Pines showed as the closest (only) campsite around. I called and was able to reach Joann on her winter number (due to the fact that they had closed for the season) who was just so kind and understanding. I didn't need to even explain, she just said "enjoy yourself".
Amenities have been updated and the campsites are well maintained.

This is the best kept secret in the North Woods ! The only real family oriented camp ground left ... we love it here and the owners are the best !
